A college student struggling with writer's block, is all of a sudden captivated by his grandfather's old home movies, shot on Super 8mm.

Max and his dog Maxi, find themselves stranded in the desert after a car crash. From there they meet with a group of Vegas gamblers who team up to take on Snakeskin and sidekick Woody in which Max finds out about a dark secret kept away from him.
